I understand that if you’re storing stock in an EU country that you need to register for VAT, so I was thinking of doing that in Germany, and then selling EFN to the rest of Europe.
But if someone in Spain buys something and then returns it, they’ll return it to a local Spanish FBA Centre I’m thinking, so that then means I’m storing stuff in Spain right? And therefore should register for VAT in Spain too?
I’m in the middle of this process and I had to register for vat in two eu countries to get efn. I picked de and fr and the way I look at it is it’s no more work looking after two that one eu country/vat service
Might be worth researching the pan-European option. Send your inventory to an Eu fulfilment centre, and Amazon will then distribute that to other countries you have a VAT number
