Seller account was de-activated

My Seller account was de-activated because I’d selected the incorrect Identity/business type (Individual) – the options to re-submit info are greyed out and contacting seller support results in auto-responses stating ‘this isn’t the correct channel to appeal…’. As I have no way of contacting support to allow me to re-submit information, I’m thinking of terminating the account and setting up a new seller account – does anyone have experience with this? Will Amazon allow me to do that?

Don’t do it, the new account will be deactivated until the problem with the first account is sorted, so it’s pointless setting up a new account.
